Simple to Operate: Enter minimal descriptive information for a menu item or a kitchen recipe, select items from a computer generated list of ingredients and enter portions for items selected. FoodByte software does the rest.

Automatic Measure Conversion: Nearly any combination of USA, UK and Metric measures can be used in portioning products ( cups, grams, liters, kilos ounces, pounds, slices, tablespoons, etc.)

Kitchen recipe as an ingredient: The cost of a recipe may in turn be portioned to menu items or other kitchen recipes.

Menu Item as an ingredient: The serving cost of any Menu Item may be portioned to other Menu items or Kitchen recipes.

Analyze cost of sales mixes: based on daily and monthly Point of Sales counts. Can be entered manually or interfaced with some POS systems
